Default Big Block weight differences. A bit off topic.

I've got a '37 Ford Cabriolet that's currently got a 454 in it with late 60 closed chamber heads and an aluminum intake, turbo 400 and Ford 9". In a separate deal with the previous owner of the '71 LS5 I just purchased, I bought an Edelbrock/Musi 555 and B&M Turbo 400 (which I've already sold). I'm looking at the 555 on the stand and the 454 in my '37 and thinking..... hmmmmmm.
Does anyone happen to know how much lighter the 555 would be? I can't seem to find any information about weight.
Any thoughts on doing this swap? The other option would be to sell the 555 to someone needing a monster Big Block.

Aluminum heads save about 70 lbs. But the 555 aftermarket block is probably heavier as well as the stroker crank.

I just called Edelbrock and they stated 675# for the Musi. Can anyone advise what my 454 with aluminum intake would weigh?

Thanks in advance.

Google "chevy big block weight" . says 685. Minus 25 for the alum intake so probably around 660. I assume that is fully dressed so make sure you are comparing apples to apples.

The weight quoted by Edelbrock was shipping weight less the shipping component. It looks like the 555 is a heavier hunk of metal.

Thanks.
