When I am looking and cant find a part number in my manual I post here on the forum and many times get information on a part that has been superseded with new numbers over a range of years.
I have a parts manual and assembly manual but many times part numbers in those sources have been superseded by new numbers.
My question - is there a particular manual/book that can be purchased which shows C3 corvette part number changes over a range of years which can help in identifying the most accurate up to date/last part number?
To be honest I don't think it really matters as GM stop making these parts many many years ago. You buy reman, repo at your local FLAPS or Corvette vendor.
If OEM is your passion than ebay seems to be the dumping ground and those parts numbers will be in line with the 1982 GM parts manual that is out there.
