Congratulations on the new ride. Very nice looking machine. One of the first things you should do is get a shroud fitted around your radiator and fan. An open fan is not very efficient and potentially dangerous. I hope you get many years of enjoyment from your new friend (and sometimes PITA).

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking 77 I hope it brings as much enjoyment to you as the 77 I had for many years until someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse and had to let it go. You will find tons of helpful information and some very knowledgeable people who are willing to share their knowledge. I could never have completed the frame off restoration of my 73 without the help of the kind people on this forum. Enjoy.

Welcome to the forum, very nice 77.
For safety, check the date codes on your tires.
It's not uncommon for Corvettes to have good tread on really old rubber.
Anything older than about 5 years should be replaced.

Very cool. You will have lots of fun. Looks nice, but you need to give the motor a going over.

Fan shroud missing. You need one for cooling and safety.

You have nylon tie cables holding the radiator on. They will get brittle and break. Plus that's not how to mount it.

You have others things held on with ties you might want to change

Curious to know why someone moved the alt to the passenger side ?

It looks like you have 2 transmission kick down cables, and only one of them is hooked up. interesting.

Love the 77,s you have the same amount of badges on yours as I do on mine . they just look cleaner de-badged .

If your interested ,here's the bracket(s) missing that would have held the original size radiator at the top.

hope you have many miles of fun with it !

We like photos of wives and girlfriends better, but these will do for now.

Welcome to the forum! A good looking 77, lots of luck with it.

Looks like a clean body, an early car with that horn button.

Thanks for posting the pics.
