Just bought a courtesy light switch for 1971 Corvette Coupe. On the bottom it's just white plastic with three slots. Do I just push the two wires off the old one with the copper leads into two of those slots.
This is the courtesy light switch by the door hing. The white plastic has three slots in it. Is this where I put the two wires with terminals in two of the three slots?
Hi ta,
The new switch requires that you have new connectors on the ends of the wire leads.
The connector needs to be securely crimped on to the wire and then the connector is pushed into the slot in the switch.
The tiny 'prong' on the connector 'seats' in the slot and prevents the connector from being pulled back out of the switch.
Tricky the first time you do one but easy after that.
The connectors are available from various parts vendors.

Alan
