well..the 77 is getting close..soo I was check fitting the new ..sill plates..and what do ya know...all the sill trim plate screw holes are...stripped..what is the...fix??...please dont say...pull the body back off..n fill n drill.....nooooo

Rivnuts, Google it. I had to do all eight of mine. You will need a tool but it will not be the last time you use them.
I HATE Riv-Nuts....I would rather TIG or MIG WELD for Originality......BUT........
If you use several drill (bits) to GRADUALLY IN STEPS drill a "TIGHT" hole for the Riv-Nut to be forced into...........the Riv-Nut will "grab well/securely when riveted....and should NOT "spin/get loose" UNLESS you try really hard.

I used stainless steel rivnuts but instead of compressing them with the tool I epoxy glued them into the holes, so far so good,have been in place around four years now.
The good news is...if the anchors ever fail, you have the "repair kit" in your tool box..........
yes the..red ones..worked perfect...great idea to try first..for sure
