Thinking about getting a dash cam. Any reasonable cost recommendations you can share? Looking for something that fits our C3's like it was meant to be there. Maybe a replacement for the rear view mirror? I did a search but came up dry.
How about just a GoPRO??? many mounts available to use. would have to turn on &off though. They advertise a mirror camera that clamps over your existing rear view mirror on TV.
Not sure you'll find anything that looks like it belongs there for a C3 but there is a ton of them out there. Amazon has a big selection if your window shopping and YouTube has reviews and comparisons. A GoPro is more of an action camera and not as well suited as a dash camera - assuming your interested in something with "parking" mode to protect your C3.
I also am thinking they are a good accessory, I'm enjoying seeing what is being used with good success and low cost,,,, thanks to all who are contributing to this,,,

What should I do now?
I purchased two HD Mirror cams, one works the other did not.
Heres my story:
1-12 10:00 am, called customer service and was told they will email a return label.
1-12 3 pm called again and was told the label will be sent by snail mail.
1-17 Told they will send a new one and to put the bad one in the same box and return it.
1-18 I was told the replacement was shipped.
1-24 Told the replacement ORDER was put in but not shipped and to call back next week.
The one I have works OK but I have not downloaded the mini card to see if it actually records.
The instructions are very poor but you can push the different buttons and figure it out.
