Is there an online tutorial of how the pieces are assembled?

One of the long slit bushings gets shortened, just over the width of the front fork

Yeah, they didn't mention that one of the two gets cut. I used the original to judge length

The other one stays long (I believe I didn't need to trim it) and goes here
