I find the AIM to be very helpful, but the index is sorely lacking. So I went through it all, and made my own index, grouped by interior, exterior, chassis, doors, seats, etc., and that has helped me navigate quite well.
Thanks for the input, guys. I was fortunate in the past when a forum member had a 1975 AIM on .pdf and emailed a copy to me. I was kinda hoping for something like that with a '68 AIM.
@ Peterbuilt - Thanks for that. Looks like it could be extremely helpful. I'll have to wait until I get an AIM to see if the numbers jive.
@EasyMike - There is an AIM Index available and costs about the same as the AIM itself.
I started this thread asking if anyone knew about downloadable AIM for the '68. Member "Peterbuilt" offered a link to an Index for a '74 AIM- haven't checked if it can be used for the '68 AIM, and member "War Bonnet" emailed a .pdf document containing a complete AIM- a copy of which is sharp and clear.
Such great help we get on this forum, and so much of it is done by guys who don't want anything in return.
