Default Pez’s c3

Well after 16 years of been in the family I just couldn’t let her go, a few cars came and went in those years but it’s now c3 time , it’s a 72 matching numbers 350, 4sp , I keep saying I’m done building cars as I got older but I just couldn’t stop with this one so here we go , it will be a chassis up rebuild with some aftermarket parts but mostly original , I have other build
Threads but this is my first corvette one , I’ve had a few vettes in the past and now I currently own a 02 Z06 but never did I restore an old one before , wish me luck on this one , thanks

Hi r,
It looks like you have a nice 72 to be working on!
It'll be interesting to see what you have planned.
Appears you have the disassembly part of the job under control.
Have fun.
Regards,
Alan

Car OP!

Door stiffeners? They look, to be bolted to the door panel.

My question, is that a 560SL under the car cover?

OK, so the notches cut in the 2 X 4 let the door rollers clear when opening and closing. Never seen that before.

My goodness now I know I can count on you guys on the details 😀😀
Here in Florida the garage doors have to be reinforced for builders codes , the notches I cut to clear a bench I had once on that side of the garage , and yes even tho that picture was taken 16 years a go that was the neighbors Mercedes Benz , hope I cleared everything 😄

Awesome!

I'm jealous that you have the resources to start from the bottom with a new frame!

Looks good! Going to run the stock motor/transmission? Or go aftermarket?

thank you Sir, got a few ideas in mind as for engine and tranny , the frame sat for six month and I started the front a few weeks ago , so far I’m done with the front suspension ,I’ll post pics soon , it’s a front end kit from Detroit speed

Really looks nice. New frame, new front end. Now you have all of our attention. Keep the pictures coming.
