Default First Drive

After close to 5 years of restoration, finally got to drive the car for the first time. First time EVER driving a Corvette. After all the horror stories of how they drove, it handled well. Was very tickled with the power, sound and the ride wasn't bad either. I think I will have a lot of fun with it. Looking forward to throwing some paint on it soon!

My first try at trying to post a video...

You've gotten a Safe car after 5 years......a good coat of paint will give you a beautiful car!

The older C3's are definitely a step back in time, and yet they were advanced for their time. Some people do not understand the difference and have trouble adjusting to a 40+ year old vehicle.

Take your car for what it is and enjoy it.....everyone who sees you drive past them will definitely enjoy looking at it.

doorgunner you are wright about the way the car drive. I like them for what they are, an old car. If I wanted a smoother ride, and handleing car I would buy a newer vett. But that is not what I want. It is like watching a movie, if I am not setting in a car watching it it is no fun. For you younger people those a called drive-in movies.

Congrats! Awesome feeling driving your vette for the 1st time. Now you can enjoy it for a while before you decide to paint her.
