A few questions, some of you can help me with. I want to re-upholster the clam shell seats that I have.
1) Buying new foam, does it come with the metal clamps, straps, or what ever is used to attach to the frame, or do you need to purchase separately. If so how are they attached to the foam?
2) How do you remove the two piece foam inserts from the frame, is there a certain way to do? I don't see any screws, clamps or hog ties.
3) I should only need to send new foam to an upholstery shop for them to be recovered, correct?
The clamshells just have tabs for the seat foam to clip in to. IMO, no need to send foam out to be covered, just order them already upholstered and just clip them in. Sorry, I don't have a photo to show the tabs.

Well I'm having a custom pattern done on new foam and just wanted to ensure when I order the foam that these holding wires? or whatever they are called are already installed in the foam.
