70 fan belts
I am a 350 350 hp not an lt-1 with powersteering. I snapped a belt this morning
also any hints trips on replacing the inner water pump belt? I remember when I did the motor 12 years ago it was not fun

When replacing the belt that's on the water pump pulley/ crankshaft pulley I found one way to do it is to remove the fan/clutch so the pulley can be moved far enough off water pump snout so it can be tipped down enough to slip the belt in place.
Once the belt is in the water pump pulley groove the pulley can be quite easily moved back onto the water pump snout.

I just replaced my water pump, changed my coolant and replaced all the belts on my 70 L-46 and there was nothing difficult. Everything was straight forward an it only took a couple of hours.
