With the weather in Northern VA getting almost warm enough to take my 68 BB convert out on the road, I fired it up after a couple months hibernating in the garage, just to hear it run. I sat there taking in the deep rumbling sound coming out the Flowmaster 40s for a couple minutes then turned the key off. It was then I noticed my exhaust sound had set off the car alarms of all the neighborhood Prius.
My insurance lay up expires on March 1st. I have been fighting the urge to start my hotrods and do some spring cleaning. The batteries are all charged and I am starting to put some noteworthy cruise dates in my phone calendar. March is a crap shoot in NW PA but I will be ready if that 60 and sunny forecast comes around.

I've done a few test drives in the '80. Perhaps Cars and Coffee this weekend if it isn't raining (no heat, no T-Tops, no carpet). The salt may be gone, but there is a LOT of gravel on the roads, at least in my part of Northern VA. With no sound insulation, that can get loud.
Wanted to get my 79 out over the weekend down here in the Richmond area, but didn't have time. I've found that I only put about 1600 miles on mine in the last year and I typically do about 2500 to 3000 per year. It will soon be time to get out and roll up some miles on it.

I feel you! (squishy!lol) Loooong winters in Vermont. Warm EARLY spring day....threw the top back, fired up the L-46, choked myself in the garage, backed it out into the driveway (3' snow banks on either side) said to myself screw it, it's got a massive heater lets GO!
ER ah NOPE.....dirt driveway, sunk down to it's frame in the middle of the driveway. 3 hours later, 16 'blue words' got it back into the garage.
Hand on bible facing ST. Louis....STILL am pulling mud chunks out of that Frame! 35 years later!
