The ones I recall from back in the day mounted the glass flush with the pillars, not inset like this. They were a more of a fastback look.

It was a popular custom modification in the 70s/early 80s. Eckler and Motion had kits, so did others. Here’s one that was at Carlisle last August:

I agree. I can recall some of the kits used the Vega rear glass.

I like the monza hatch back vb posted a lot but i only like it on wide bodies because...thats a lot of glass, needs more car,
The pic the op posted is more the sloped glass like on motion phase cars, eckler and others had their version of this in the day,
A lot of people like the slanted rear glass of the hard top better than flat cove glass or bubble butt 78 to 82 rear...
