82 corvette crossfire

Hi all I have an 82 corvette crossfire I live in Ireland Hope none of you mind lol My car starts 1st time drives with plenty of excel eradication but when driving at a steady 50mph or 60mph I get a hold back like I'm in to high a gear but if I exceleradicate away she goes no problem Anyone any idea oh and it's an automatic Thanks Joe

not sure that I understand your problem.are you sure that the trans is in locked up high gear .what is your rpm at 60mph.

Sound like you have a 700r4 trans
