Default 1971 Convertible Sale Advice

What do you guys think a reasonable asking price should be on my 71? I’m selling to fund a C2 restomod project.

LS5 (454/365) numbers matching recent rebuild
Convertible (plus hard top)
4-speed
Beautiful paint not correct (Maserati Grigio Alfieri) 9/10
Great interior (black) 8/10
Suspension recently rebuilt
Vintage Air
Nice chrome

Chrome bumper big-block 4 speed 'vert; that's a desirable car. Hard to really put a value on it with the limited information given, but some good condition coupes have moved for near $30K recently, so we are talking north of that if everything checks out. Pics? Condition of frame? Details on motor rebuild?

Does it have all the big block "stuff" on it?

Was the Vintage air done up like the original, with the "fingers" fan? What rear end is in the car? Original trans? What are the casting numbers on the block?

you have all the bells and whistles, roadster is a HUGE, plus it is a 4 speed as the same car in auto is a tough sell. After owning 5 C-3's in the past the one I miss most is a '72 L-48 roadster 47k original even had to add power steering even. I advertised a '72 Lt-1 with 27K original with original bock to go with ,not installed ,loaded even. calls were 50 to 1 about the roadster. Roadster demand far outstrips supply I feel they are way undervalued. at 70 YO If i had a do over it would be 4 speed roadster only

Hi HT,
This is a difficult car on which to assess the value..... the very same paint and a/c that will attract some purchasers, will deter others!
Without a lot more information, and photos of the exterior, interior, engine compartment and chassis, nothing but a guess is possible.
Your post will likely get moved to the General section until you decide on a price.
Regards,
Alan
