When I purchased my 81, the rear speakers were loose in the back. Came with both brackets but can't figure out how they fit together. Anyone have pictures they can share to put me in the right direction?

Here is a photo of my `82 (pre-carpet replacement).
Btw, when you eventually replace your carpet, make sure to replace the dense, thick original tar-based/aluminum covered noise/heat insulation around the wheel wells with a much thinner, equally effective insulation (i.e. Dynamat, X-mat, etc.) and the speakers will look less obstructed and flow nicely in the back. And, as an aside, consider the C3-proven, high performance and cool running (fits easlily under your center instrument console) Clarion Amp and Alpine speakers (small but high tech/ultra-powerful magnets) to significantly upgrade your system.
Be sure to do the same for others on the forum as you progress with your hobby car.
