Default What is this part called?

Ok id show a picture of it but mine is missing so.. under the dash in the air duck there is a door that opens to allow air to go to the vents in the dash, door opens to allow air to dash vents closes to direct air to defrost or floor. Question is there is supposed to be a vacuum actuator to open and close this door or maybe it's electric I'm not sure cause mine is missing. What is the name of this part so I can get a new one? I have researched on several different site and am still unsure. The car is a 1977. Thank you for your time and attention lol.

Hi CH,
Is this the door you're asking about.
It has a small vacuum actuated 'pot' that's controlled by the left side thumb wheel on the a/c-heater controller.
Regards,
Alan

Hi CH,
Sorry, I didn't remember that there was a change.
I'm sure someone familiar with 77 cars will be along soon.
Regards,
Alan

I think the plastic piece the vacuum relay attaches to breaks off the door. There have been several fixes involving pop-riveting a piece of sheet metal over the attach point. Since it is technically bubba-esque, I would recommend Budweiser can...

It's the vacuum port itself I'm missing.

I think the name you are looking for is 'vacuum actuator'?

Would probably be this: https://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corv...1977-1982.html
