I work at a GM dealership in Michigan. I just had a customer ask me what his corvette was worth wanting to sell it. When he told me it was a 1972 ZR1 my first words where they never made one...I was wrong...After doing some research I told him I'm not going to give you a figure. I need help....Yes he wants to sell it....He is the original owner, has all paper work to verify that, 24000 miles, the car was delivered to the dealer in primer then painted to your color. He chose a black exterior. He couldn't tell me the last time he had it running. It's been sitting in his garage with the battery out for years.

First black was not an available color in 72. The second thing is it an LT-1 in order to be a ZR1 it has to have that motor. There are other options that a ZR1 has some other members will chime in. ZR1 is a package
