Crank pulley clearance
Just finishing up installing my new Dewitt radiator and noticed there is virtually no clearance between the crank pulley and the cross-member. Is this normal on a big block car? To change a belt you would have to remove the crank pulley to do so.

The pulley on mine is within the depression on the crossmember and I can easily put my fingers between the pulley and the frame in that area
