Anyone have any diagrams or replacement tips for a 1975 coupe? Could not find any searching the forum.
I only see one upper screw, hoping dash pad does not need removal. Winshield header trim is o.k. shape, I do have cracks in door panels, interior is original.
My thinking was to just replace the a-pillar trim since it is missing vinyl at the top and foam is exposed, looks bad with t-tops off.
Also, any recommendations on where to buy replacements? Wilcox, Corvette America, etc.?
Your 75 should be the same as my 73. After you remove the screw, you should be able to remove the trim that is held in 2 places by plastic
velcro type holders. You can see them on this diagram that are numbered 4.

You have to remove the sun visors and the top trim first then the "A" pillars will come off.

No need to remove the top trim, just the first two screws on that side. I just ordered one from corvette central. I'll let you know how it looks when it arrives.
Hi pmr,
As Donnie's pic from the AIM indicates the trim piece is held in place by 2 velcro type 'pads' too.
It often takes some pulling on the trim piece to get the velcro to release.
Regards,
Alan
The replacement pieces I got from Corvette Central [a few years ago] didn't fit worth a hoot. The plastic locking strips (aka Velcro) were not the same and did not mesh with the original pieces on the frame; the pieces were not shaped the same as the originals and had to be "massaged"; called C.C. and they couldn't care less....
I ended up removing the plastic locking strips from the original pieces and transferring them to the new pieces, reshaping the new ones to fit, and re-dyeing them to actually match my interior. PITA!!

I just noticed I was wrong, it was Corvette America not Corvette Central.
