Why are 80 -82 strut rods listed differently ? I thought they were all the same length ?

1963-1974 strut rods and the 1975-1979 strut rods were different because of the size of the bushing. In 1980 the rear end and the mounting changed which caused the strut rods to need to be configured at an angle. So the difference between the 1979 and earlier strut rods vs. those used in 1980-1982 was that the ends were on an angle.

Per Zip Corvette:

Note: 1980-1982 Corvette strut rods used ends that are angled differently than the strut rods found on 1975-1979 Corvettes. These rods will only work on 1980-1982 Corvettes.
