Please let me introduce myself.. I am a Mopar guy and have a loyalty to the classic Mopars..but lately I have been really enjoying my 1976 stingray that I have bought my wife 10 years ago and never really paid attention to, and not really working on it as much as my Mopar, but recently I have been cruising in the Vette and I am starting to enjoy it more so than my Challenger..Attached is a picture of the Vette during a photo shoot, as well as a photo of my Mopar.. Now that I have an interest in this Vette I have a wiring question..I downloaded the wiring diagram, but cannot find where several wires go to..I have attached two picture with questions of where the wires go to...any help would be appreciated
The black and white wires in the first photo are for the factory alarm under hood switch.
I can't reference the area of the second photo for certain, but it looks like the blue/yellow with the connector is for the wiper/washer and the red/orange are for the power window relay.

Awesome..I guess I can tape it off and tuck into in the wiring loom...and I think your correct, since it does not have a washer pump that could be the power connection...also on the red and orange wire, it is on the drivers side below the brake booster, there is definitely 12 vts to the red wire..so your might be right as for power window relay..
again, thank you for your reply..

What do you enjoy more about the Corvette than the Challanger?
Wow, I do like my Stroker 418 cubes in my challenger, and the challenger has a lot more room overall, but the performance handling is very limited, unlike the Vette, where I have more control of the vehicle. and really like the open air T-tops. Both are easy to work on in terms of wiring, but working on metal compared to fiberglass can involve a learning curve..I didnt have much fiberglass bodywork experience , and installing fiberglass components such as the fiberglass front and rear bumpers are not easy to do since fiberglass does not flex easy and involved a lot of trimming and trial fit....also learning about so many vacuum lines in the Vette was no fun either, since on a dodge challenger the only vacuum lines that were used are for the brake booster.

You have 2 great rides there and the young woman is simply beautiful. If it were me the 418 would keep me glued to the seat in the Mopar unless the Vette had a stroker 427. As the proud owner of a Vette and a Mopar I would say both cars had their pluses and both had their minuses. If I were forced to sell just one of mine it would be an extremely hard choice. I hope that day never comes.

That would be my next project, ever since I put those rims on, there is a bit of a noticeable gap..so I am hoping to lower it a bit..Also I can always use a great wiring diagram like everybody else..
thank you

Love that demon...what kind of motor is in it?? My challenger has a small block 340 and I punched it out to 418 cubes, Six-Pack..Eagle crank and Ross racing pistons..11:1 compression..
I don't remember ever seeing a challenger with those vent sort of thingies on the front fender behind the wheel. Is that a custom touch or a factory fender?

..Those fenders side gills are only on a 1973-74 year challenger..the 70-72 do not have them..

Al;
You have a pretty potent engine in there for sure. My Dart is a 1970 Swinger 340, 4 speed, 3.23 sure trac. Other than the engine being .020 over with a new oem cam it is all original as is the A833 tranny and dif. The car was restored about 20 years ago painted the original color and had a new vinyl roof put on. When I find the correct radio and exhaust tips it will be nearly all original, or oem.
The Vette is your run of the mill 75 with a warmed over L48 4 speed, headers, 2 1/2 " exhaust and dual chambered mufflers.
Both cars are around 290 hp and are a hoot to drive. The Dart has more straight line speed and the Vette is far superior in the curves. They both make me smile.
