Found this on the local Craigslist today. Apparently this guy left his 76 parked on the street overnight. This is what he found when he returned. He is asking 1500 for what’s left.
While there is certainly $1,500 in parts there, this has to be heartbreaking for the owner. I hope he was fortunate enough to get an insurance pay out.
let's be honest. Devastating for some of us. And while I feel for the guy, I would never leave my 69 unattended on the street. Hope there is a silver lining somewhere for this guy.

I hope so too. I feel for the guy but I know my classic insurance states the car must be garaged and on my property. I hope it works out for him.
makes me sick.
that poor car was really smacked.
i never really got a handle on luck.
timing of events? end of a street?
car looks to be hit full on and not a side swipe.
i never wanted to part out a car.
hassle. my brother on the other hand has selling off pieces down to an artform.
seen my bro get all his money and then some.
That left front wheel is not too far out of line. Car is repairable. Noses are cheap on 75-up cars. I drive by this 72 El Camino on a Philadelphia street all the time. Nice car. City street. People parallel parking in front and behind it constantly. That I REALLY don't get.
