Default Carpet

Hey guys can anybody tell me the order of the different layouts of insulation’s, hushmats and carpet, in what order starting from the floor panel to the last item the carpet. Thank you

Not sure exactly what you're after but I'll have a go

Floor
Dynamat stuck to the floor, wheel wells, etc to help deaden sound. Must be stuck firmly to the car to actually deadened sound


and any larger panels (doors and inside doors if you can get there etc) that vibrate










Insulation (if used) reflectx or whatever (may not needed depending on the deadener you use and who you talk to)







Jute backed carpet







I think you'll find that if you use a good sound deadener and a carpet with the proper jute backing there is no room for much insulation especially around the pedals and consoles


I like to deal with heat before in gets into the car. The trans-tunnel insulation and foam horse collar make a fair difference in heat getting into the car, you may also want to consider under-car insulation where the exhaust is close to the floors
