Dewitt's Build Time

I have had a two of their radiators that were off and dealt with them on getting the problems with them corrected. It took a little bit of time..about a week or so if my memory serves me correctly. But I also was not concerned about time...I just wanted the problem resolved...which it was.
Keep in mind that this was not a custom radiator...it was just correcting obvious fitment issues in one of there radiator designs.

You guys need remember tom dewitt sold the company a few years ago,
Bsck when tom was still doing it, he sold and made me the custom one with larger tubes,
I just dont recall it holding up shipping and saw it im sure in like a week or ten days,
But now you would have to call and ask them turn around on that, even tom might not know off the top of his head,

From my experience, if they don't have a radiator in stock, it usually takes about a week for them to make it up.
As far as a custom radiator, last year I ordered a polished LS radiator from them, for a customer building a 59 resto-mod. By the time they made the radiator, sent it out too be polished, and got it to me, it took about 5 weeks.

Polished ones are the worst because we send them out for polishing and we are at the mercy of others. Typically 2-3 weeks turn around just to polish

Thanks Tom, I talked to John D this morning. The radiator should be shipped up to Howell this week for you all to build. It will be black. Thanks!!!!
If it's just a minor alteration to a stock unit it should only be a week or two. If it's a whole new development that's a problem at this time. They lost a welder and had trouble hiring a new one so they fell behind a little bit. Call John in the morning and he can get it done for you.
