Header Side Pipe Questions
Hello all, I have a couple questions for those that have installed header side pipe combo's on their cars. When I put the body back on a different frame (old one had issues) I shimmed the front up some (2 shims) for the rocker moldings to clear with out having to be cut out for the headers. I did shim the front more than the rear but from the picture of my #4 body mount you can see that I had to shim this extra, doors align and gaps are great. If it was only 1/4 inch or so no big deal. but this just over a 1/2 inch. The steering all lines up good and really the only issue that I can see may be with the rear bumpers and getting them aligned.
So question would it be better to cut the rockers and put the body back down?
Has anyone else suffered from this on their builds and what did you do?

the instructions that come with the header side pipes have a template for cutting the rocker moldings.
