I went with the Breakerless SE for several reasons. It's a 15 minute swap, retains stock appearance, no running of extra wires required, can swap back to points in 15 minutes, and its dependable. YMMV
I put a Pertronix on my '66 and ran it that way for 20 years without ever looking at it. In those days the Pertronix required two wires, so the appearance wasn't perfect. I understand they have since come up with a one wire system that is undetectable without removing the distributor cap.

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like the way to go .Any suggestions on a coil to go with it?
