i have a 1980 i am working on and have gotten a buzz sound in console and choke light comes on i unhooked alternater and still got buzz anybody have that problem before i had alternater checked and came back good thanks

The noise is from the choke relay in the console. You should look into it before you burn out the choke coil.

Mine's doing that too. I figure it's a ground somewhere, but I haven't had time to troubleshoot it.
