Help!
I am in need of some advice, there is an individual that has a single piece glass roof that goes where the t tops go. It covers from passenger side to driver side. He says that it will need new weather stripping.
Question one: how much would this item be worth
Question two: he had it for his 75 and I have a 79, would these be compatible
Question three: how hard would it be to find the weather stripping for it, and where would I get it

First off I seriously doubt that it is GLASS. It is more than likely acrylic plastic.
AS for your other questions..I have no clue due to I would need to see how it attaches due to it has been so long since I had to deal with that type of 'roof' panel. I honestly cannot remember.

Ive never seen a true 'glass' one piece top for a 3rd gen. (Doesnt mean they dont exist though). I would assume the individual is selling a 'targa' top like this:

I own the above product and like it because it allows full view and headroom, but takes about 3 times longer than a regular T-Top to install or remove. Mine sits mostly unused now as I have since purchased glass t tops.
The Astro top has two awkward clamps at the rear and two nut and screw assemblies that go thru the 'stud' hole at the peak of the windshield. Ive never had a problem with mine coming loose.
If you (or the top) are anywhere near CNY, let me know and Id be willing to look at it for ya.
