Default T-top and windshield sealant

What do I use to seal the top parts of the t-top to the frame. Like under the big stainless piece that goes from the front to the back. Also the top of the windshield where the t-tops sit. I know there is weatherstrip for the t-tops themselves.
There must be some weatherstrip or rubber that goes in there to keep out rain.

Are you referring to the windshield glass or the metal moldings?
If the metal molding parts, do you fill the channels up with sealant or just along the top edges where the parts join?

On mine, I used electrical duct seal. It is a putty that`s used to seal moisture out of electrical panels & cabinets. It does not shrink, crack, or harden. I figure if it`s good enough to keep water out of electrical boxes, it should work on my windshield & T-top channels! It`s about 4 bucks for a one pound block, and I used about 3 and a half blocks.

I believe GM used strip caulk.

Unless you want to replicate what they did when the car was built why don't you use a modern windscreen sealant? I

use this stuff

Originality has left the building on this corvette.

I will just use thiokol or urethane.

What goes under/behind the t-top center stainless at the back end?

I use CRL 7708 at the front and at the rear I will use it along with the 3M strip caulk.
