Default Lining Interior - what else to do?

I'm planning on lining my interior floor here soon with sound deadener and insulation. Anything else I should consider doing while I have her stripped down? I pulled my kick panels recently and the bird cage mount area was relatively rust free....bolts and washers were bit rusted but not too bad, frame/cage itself was clean. Replace bolts and washers, paint, WD40 it?

Anything else I should take advantage of while I'm at it?

I would not spay the body bolts that are slightly rusted with WD 40.

And I do not know if I would try to take them out in case they are stuck and you open up another problem.

Clean them off and shoot paint on them is about all you can do at this time UNLESS you want to take them out and paint them.

I would wash the car really good and see if you are getting any water leaks into the interior and stop them before I installed the insulation.
