The 'complicated' method would be to remove one of the cables from your battery, and then reinstall it exactly two hours later.
The appropriate method would be to pull outward on the time-setting ****, and while in that outward position, turn the **** until the time is correct. (It is best to turn the **** in the direction which takes the least number of rotations to set the correct time.)

Pull the chrome **** stem out, then turn it.

If the clock runs, you could still use the 'intermittent' battery approach.

Or move two time zones east. My **** broke off inside, too. It is probably fixable, but a lot of the interior needs to come out to access the clock.

There is a small gear pressed onto the end of the clock adjuster shaft that may possibly have slipped off...or...some obstruction in the clock is keeping you from being able to pull the **** out far enough to engage the gear with the clock mechanism. To fix it you will have to remove the clock and open it up on the bench.

If you go to that much trouble, just put a quartz mechanism clock in its place. I've never seen an original Borg clock that ran and kept good time for more than 5 years (actual running time...not 5 years but only running an hour or two a day). Install quartz and never dive in there [for the clock] again.
