Just f'n AMAZING to witness that!!!. In all honesty, if it was the one thing I was very dissappointed in was that for the 50th Celebration of the '68, there was only 3 '68s in the 50th display outside. Did see like 8 more '68s inside the one building and another 8-10 '68 L-88s so that made up for it!!! Loved Corvette Mike's Silver L-88 conv with hdtp and the other '68 L-88s. I know, I know, shoulda taken my camera, forgot it. Drove 640mi round trip out & back since 4:45AM & just back home a few mins after 12AM. Another amazing thing out of like 22 some '68s, saw like 7 Bronze '68s !!! Several had the Dark Orange interior too !!!
Paul, good points! I was shocked on Friday that there was 1 ‘68 outside in the GoldYear all day. Today a second showed, then a third. It was sad. It definitely changed my mind from bringing my ‘69 next year.

And yes, the amount of bronze ‘68s in the inside display was crazy! I had a real soft spot for the ‘68 as it was my first C3 (we called them “ late models”) back in 1978. Of course, I had an L88 hood! The L88 display was awesome.

When the '68 was the 25yr Silver Salute car @ Bloomington, I think there was like 55 cars, BUT for the following year, there was over I think 210 '69s for their Silver Salute. I would hope there would be 40-50+ '69s next year!!! Was at BG every year from like '91 to 2007 I think.

Maybe I was a little high on the '68 number, was at least 37 cars?

Some years ago there was a similar 1968 Corvette convertible at Pro Team. The color combination was black paint with a bright blue interior. The engine was a small block 327 350HP version.
Rather disappointing to see the poor turnout of 1968 Corvettes on hand but thanks to those who shared pictures!
