I installed a new gasket on my removable rear window
The window doesn't want to shut
I am trying to figure out the correct position of the rear window bottom
How far should the lower spiked go
All the way?
Right now they are at two different positions
AS stupid as it may sound it needs to go down far enough so you can manually press in on the glass and get the top latches to lock it in place.
The placement of the top edge of the seal that runs along the bottom may be a factor if you glued it in to low. This not allowing it to go all the way down or IF it goes down all the way...it is under a SEVERE bind or tension when you try to close it up.
Thanks DUB
I can get the locks to shut but it takes significant pressure
I wanted to position it correctly before I leave it shut for awhile

It will; have some pressure but I am not there to say if it is too much. If you get it to close and latch. Leave it for a day or so thane take it out and see if the tension has lessened.
