Default painting airdam

Hey everyone

I restored some cracks and other road damage on my front air dam from my 77.
I want to paint it. What type of paint should I use?

Use SEM ColorCoat 'Satin Black' [spray can] vinyl dye. It will flex with the air dam. Wipe it down with lacquer thinner or other volatile solvent before you shoot it. Most auto parts stores carry it.

I used VHT Satin Bumper and Trim Paint on my bumperettes and windshield trim. It's held up very well, I wouldn't hesitate to use it on an airdam.

Thank you for the info!

Do you have to put a primer on first?

For that spoiler, it probably would be a good idea. But make sure that it is clean, first.

Ok, I will use the SEM colorcoat paint that you recomended. I found a shop that sells SEM paints.
I couldn't find a shop that sells the VHT paints in Belgium.

What is a good SEM primer to use with the colorcoat?
