A few have. They make license plate frames that double as reverse lights.

We did it to our 71 coupe. The inner buckets have to be replaced, to accept the double pin bulb. The license plate frame with LEDs on the sides wouldn`t fit inside the stock bezel, so we cut them off, and mounted them underneath for reverse lights.

Me three.

I didn't change out the sockets on the inner bulbs. Just take a knife and cut off one of the nubs on the 1157 bulb and put it in the factory socket.

If you just want the look of the 4 tail lights, yes. But I believe the buckets need to be changed to get all 4 to function as stop / tail / turn signals.

Check from post 28 onwards and there is some info on changing the center as well as the bit with the halo rings

You can just pop- bend - pull- wrestle a little bit- the 1156 stock bulb holder out-

Get one of these 1157 holders - either screw -bolt or rivet in place- DONE.

I just spliced in the extra sockets when i went to the bubbles, sequential turn signals would be cool.
