Way cool.

Those images must have stuck in my mind somehow,.. because a 69 BB in Riverside Gold with PO2 hubcaps was the only car I was interested in.

Not doing the black paint though. LOL

Cool! I don't love the black paint designed by one of the astronauts (forgot who), but I love the history.

I've got some real photos on Alan Beans car when it was at a car show in Austin years ago. Cool history on those cars. A local Chevy dealer would lease the cars to Astronauts for $1 a year and they'd drive them for a year then give them back to the dealer. Then the dealer would jack the price up because it was an Astrovette.

Well..That answers that question. Thank you. The other two have not been found. I refuse to believe they were destroyed. Maybe in a barn or even under a restomod skirt. Who knows?
