1970 C3 Blower Motor
I doubt it is the switch or the resistor

Second, the motor is on the pass side between the AC box and the fender.
I would unplug the wire from the motor,a nd clean the copper motor tab with some fine steel wool, and reconnect the connector wire, you may just have an oxidized connection.

One of my problems is the blower/fan switch is stuck and needs replaced . I took off the console cover and assumed the switch would be easy replacement . But not so. I can't seem to see how it comes out. I did remove the
remaining 2screws which I thought held it in . Still cant get it out. see photo ..Is there a trick ?
Be aware that your "underpowered" airflow might NOT be due to the blower motor at all. There are several reasons for having poor airflow in your HVAC system: poor ground to the blower motor (wire connected to one of the blower motor mounting screws; positive is a push-over plug); Poor electrical connection between blower HI switch position and the motor: burnt contacts on the blower motor switch; LEAVES & DEBRIS IN THE HVAC SYSTEM AIR PLENUM (very common); and a weak blower motor.
When you remove the blower motor, you can stick your cell phone camera down in there to see what has collected inside the plenum. In any event, clean all that stuff out of there. Also, if you need to buy another blower motor, be aware that the least expensive blowers are NOT as well built as the original motor. Make sure you are getting a similar unit to replace the old one (you get what you pay for).
