The driver side brake lights on my 68 Vette have stopped working. The passenger side brake lights work fine as do all other lights, blinkers, backup and license tag lights (obviously bulbs are fine). The flasher lights also work until I step on the bake pedal and then they freeze. Does anyone have an idea where to start to track down this strange fault?
Thanks guys

check the grounds on the lights on that side. Disconnect the wires at the frames and get the metal shiny and reconnect. Check the wire at light housing as well

Brake lights are also tied into the turn signal switch. You have to remove steering wheel to check electrical conductivity there as well.
Thanks for the input. It turned out to be a bad ground. I cleaned up the frame and wires contacts for the ground and both left and right brake lights are now working. I appreciate the input.
