Default Restoring 70 LT1 question

Does anyone know if the heater box on the inside should be painted semi gloss. Also does the outside of the heater box get painted and what kind of paint.
Thanks for your help.

both componets are natural black fiberglass orginally not painted.
I would leave them that way unless you have to do repairs, then you would need to paint to cover repairs.

No paint on either. While it was out I actually polished it . Easier to keep clean.
