Anyone ever deal with Streetside classics?
They have a few cars the match what I am looking for. I jsut do not know these guys.
Their online review look OK but..... online...
any info or shared experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks
I have never dealt with them, but they have a lot of cars in their inventory that interest me. Their eBay rating is 100% and have been selling there since 2008. Since they have several showrooms nationwide, I wonder if they are all "company" owned or if they are franchise operations. Some classic car dealers take consignments and never actually have the cars in their possession. Good luck with your search.

I have been to their store in Fort Worth. Even though the cars are probably mostly consignment, they have them on display at their stores and actually prepare them for sale (detailing.) There cars are a little higher than "for sale by owner" but they do have to make a profit. I have never bought anything from them so I cannot say how they are to deal with though.

When I lived in Charlotte I went by their showroom every time I was on that side of town. Very nice folks there. A lot of the cars were consigned, all detailed and photographed on site. I still dream about a Plymouth Savoy Coupe I saw there w/ Hemi.
Hello, I bought my 1982 Corvette from Streetside in Charlotte. This car is perfect, I love it. No hidden surprises. For my car they had full documentation. Streetside was wonderful to deal with. When I purchased the vehicle the passenger side window did not work. They agreed to take care of it and they had it repaired by the time I returned to pick it up. They don't repair vehicles from what I understand but they brought in someone to fix it. As far as the Charlotte branch I consider them very honest and were easy to deal with. Prices may be a little higher than the average individual seller but often you get what you pay for.

Never sold a vehicle through them, but have had friends who have. Consignment based, so don't be afraid to throw out some crazy offers, you never know.
I have a couple of friends sell through the Charlotte office without any issues. They are a consignment house so they will tack a fee on the top of your asking price. If they receive an offer lower than posted price they will contact you and let you make the call.
I have had good results with Street Side Classics in both Atlanta and Texas, I think they have a couple other locations. I have sold a few cars with them, and usually got my target price pretty close. Fairly trustworthy place to me, but they all are there to make $$ for sure.
My last full restoration of a 1972 Gran Torino Sport did well for a somewhat off beat car......I had one my senior year in high school ......and put way too much in it restoring to near perfection....but thoroughly enjoyed the journey restoring it. This one sold in 3 weeks after consigning it, and they got about $2500.00 commission for the sale.....it brought $29,000.00 so I was good with that, no hassle selling for me.
