Cleaned up Engine Compartment-Before/After

Default Cleaned up Engine Compartment-Before/After

Repainted firewall... and brackets... engine... re-routed Hose’s and wires for cleaner look and added a small amounts of chrome... and valve covers.. elbow grease and about $400
working on underside of hood next...

Much better but maybe clean up the grease around the hood latches? How about a earlier model chrome air cleaner? You did a nice job on the repaint.

yea... gotta clean up latches...
I really like the air cleaner setup I have... I even repainted the dual snorkel.

I still have a little tweaking to do before I’m done with the engine compartment cosmetics, but I’m 90% done.

After you cleaned it up did you mask & use spray paint or did you use a brush and paint that levels out really well?

I unhooked a few lines to move out the way....and or moved things or unscrewed things to get a good shot with spray paint.
i did sections at a time and would mask off or put aluminum foil on things I didn’t want to get paint on
