Default Turn Signal Problem

I am having some problems with the turn signals on a 1976 Corvette. The left signal works correctly but when the right signal is turned on it flashes all the lights. Right and left front and rear lights along with the front and rear side markers. There is pulsing 12v on the green wire in the rear, but I also see pulsing 12v on the brown wire which should be the parking lights. If the parking lights are turned on, and you try to operate the turn signals, the right side don't work at all, no lights, but the left works. The steering column is rebuild and has a new turn signal switch. I checked the leads coming from the switch and they appear to be correct. I get pulsing 12v on the green for the right side and pulsing 12v on the yellow for the left. After a week of this I am a total loss as to what could be causing it. Some how the turn signal voltage is getting crossed up with the parking lights but only on the right side. Please any help I can get will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Richard

Do you have your old turn signal switch Assy? Check the wires on the connector, for same color coded wires, or plug in the old switch see if it changes and look for a pinched wire in the steering Column.

I checked it and the wire colors are aligned. The readings I took there were made on the out put side of the connector so it should be seated.

One thing I failed to mention earlier is that with the turn signals in the neutral position if I turn on the parking lights there is a solid green arrow for the right hand turn signal. I have not been able to find a decent wiring diagram for the head light switch. Since the head light switch controls the parking lights is there a chance the head light switch could be the problem?
