I completed the reinstallation of my gas tank this weekend and got everything all restored back like new, EXCEPT the gas tank door spring; I can't figure out where the heck it goes.
I saw the thing and I remember it had something to do with the door, but I couldn't figure out where it went to save my life. I just searched online and figured out that it's the gas door spring (makes sense why it didn't close quite as authoritatively as I had remembered) -Where does this thing go? How do I reinstall it?

Looks like you hook one side and then push the other in position but maybe some else knows the correct procedure!
