Default Long term storage

Looking for a reputable storage facility in Northern California to store my C3 for 1- 3 years while I’m overseas. Car is in Northern California having work done, any recommendations appreciated.

If you're going to store it that long, consider putting it in a car storage bag. I used to use Omni Bag for my midyear when it was being stored in an unheated garage for the winter. Not sure if they are still available, but someone must be making them.

Life Storage is spreading nationwide. I see several near Sacramento. We’ve use them in Texas and they are great. I can’t speak for your specific area, but as a company in general, I highly recommend them. Best of luck and be safe overseas.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to disconnect and plug fuel line to carb and run engine til it dies. Keep fuel tank near full and add stabil. Pull plugs and squirt some oil in cylinders and turn engine over a few times before reinstalling plugs. Disconnect battery and if possible, put car on jackstands to take load off tires. Throw some dessicant and moth ***** in interior. Good luck

My late father had a large corvette collection, with anywhere from 15-30 at a time. My job as a teen was to keep them all moving to minimize deterioration from storage. My advice? Find a friend who will keep at his place and get to drive it periodically in exchange for storing it. It will be in 10x better shape than even under the best storage conditions.
