rear marker lights 73 vette
Was buffing car and came to close to marker light lense at rear quarter panell and it came off with some kind of aluminum plate i guess to hold it in place. How does it go back please.

I use a hot glue gun to put lenses back in the housing.
So take the whole thing out by removing the nuts Mel mentioned, clean off any old glue in the housing and on the edge of the lens, and the lay down a thin bead of glue on the edge of the lens and get it in place quickly as the glue dries in seconds. If it dries before you get the lens all the way in you'll have to start over.
