That's correct. There are more of these carbs now for sale than they ever built due to the number of badly rebuilt re-stamps that don't even run. For under $2000, you can get a complete, shiny piece of junk.

I think the NCRS should make people put their car on the track and run a 1/4 mile with it. If it won't do the 1/4 within 2 seconds of the stock factory car, the car should not be eligible for a Top Flight award... With all the junk "correct" carbs on those NCRS cars, it would eliminate most of them from award eligibility...My old Pinto will outrun most of them.
