Garage Squad
I know it's silly and just TV. I remember seeing one forum member who posted about having his C2 done up by these folks.
But, just saw a new episode last night where they did a '75 C3 and despite some things all of us would jump up and point to I thought it was kind of fun. Rather see that than another 100K+ build in a multimillion dollar shop that I will never ever see the inside of unless I have a tool bag on my shoulder and I'm there on a service call for something not car related.
And if Heather Storm would like to stop by and just replace the door panels on my '69 well, that would be OK by me too ....

It was an enjoyable episode. Although I think it took them longer than "a couple of days" like they say they usually take.

2016 C3 of Year Finalist
I don’t usually watch that show but I watched it this time since they were working on a Corvette. It was entertaining. As someone else mentioned another forum member was on the show last year with his modified C2. Maybe someone smarter than me can provide the link to his thread about the experience. As you can imagine there is a lot of embellishment but all in all it seemed like a good experience.

Yeah, I know that part of the show was real because I went through the same thing with a locally purchased low cost radiator (from a a radiator shop) back when I was restoring a '73. Of course, they didn't do like I did and get a DeWitt radiator instead. They apparently just "made it fit."

It is a good show, they should make an episode on how they do it. I suspect they work on these cars around the clock to get them done in whatever time frame they have, guys tripping over each other is not very efficient. Probably more people working on them than we know. On Overhaulin they work 24/7 with a big crew to get show car results in a couple weeks. No waiting around for paint to cure there.
