New Battery compartment wiring
First I ran 4g wiring from a new 100A alternator back to the fuse block (I listened to DUB on the wiring)
The fuse block is a Blue Sea System 150 Amp fuse
I used a Flaming River 100 Amp Little Switch for my cut-off switch on the ground side (has removable key).
I plan on eventually converting to AGM style battery when the car is painted & interior is in.

Well, when I read the original Flaming River literature it convinced me to put it on the ground side, but I just got off the phone with them and they said to put it on the positive side, so I'll be swapping that around. They said either side will work but there is a chance that it will find another ground elsewhere. Again, I'll be moving it to the positive side.

If the yellow arrows in the photo below are now going to be POSITIVE. I would look into some type of rubber cap or boot to protect them from anything getting on them that may be metal and also touching the cars ground.

I found some SS marine terminal blocks i used for my wiring- they seem to a little better quality than the 'car stereo' stuff out there.
Another trick you might look at- I am running two 6V batteries wired in a series and gave me a BUNCH more room in the storage compartments.
I put one on each side-
thanks DUB,
I converted to using the Flaming River switch on the positive side -- I still need to find some rubber caps where I temporarily wrapped some red tape to remind me. I think normal battery boots may work here. By the way, the 4 gauge cable from the alternator is connected to the large fuse, you just can't see it in the pic.
